Terms of Service

Last updated: July 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of Quodeo. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Quodeo.

What Quodeo is

Quodeo helps you get work done on your home. You tell us what you need; we identify local service providers, gather what they would charge, and — with your approval — arrange the work.

What Quodeo is not

Quodeo is not a contractor and does not perform the work. The service providers are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. We do not control their work, their schedules, their licensing, or their conduct. Any contract for the work itself is between you and the provider.

We make a genuine effort to find good providers and to represent your request to them accurately, but we do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, legality, or safety of work performed by a third party. Disputes about the work are between you and the provider, though we will help where we reasonably can.

Cancellation

You can cancel a request through the app. Once a provider has been scheduled or has begun work, cancellation may be subject to that provider's terms, and we will tell you what those are.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

The AI assistant

Quodeo's assistant is powered by artificial intelligence. It can be wrong. Do not treat its output as professional, legal, financial, or safety advice. For anything urgent or dangerous — gas, electrical, structural, or flooding — contact a licensed professional or emergency services directly.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit — messages, photos, and details about your home. You grant Quodeo the permission needed to use that content to operate the service, including sharing the relevant parts with service providers so they can do the job.

Availability

Quodeo is provided "as is." We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quodeo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any work performed by a third-party service provider. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid Quodeo in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using Quodeo at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Quodeo after a change means you accept it.
